  8. INFORMATION:   As everyone knows, there are a lot of installations which
  9.                use the Western Digital Ethercards.  In the past these 
  10.                cards caused problems on internetworks.  WD then fixed 
  11.                the problem and got their drivers certified.  
  12.  
  13.                More recently, certain problems have come to light when
  14.                trying to use the Ethercard drivers with 3.01 shells. 
  15.                Engineering has informed us that WD has not been keeping
  16.                their certifications up-to-date with new driver revisons.
  17.  
  18.                The only driver they have certified (with the Ethercard 
  19.                Plus and Ethercard Plus 16) has been the following,
  20.                documented in bulletins L-292 and L-299:
